Hairspray

For this project we had to create a poster advertising Hairspray the Musical being put on at the Emerson Colonial Theater. We had to incorporate all of the text using different type face styles. For my color palette, I chose different shades of brown. This was very different from everyone else in my class, because the typical color palette for hairspray is bright and vibrant colors. My color palette represents more of the story line as opposed to the visual appearance because this musicals main themes are battling racism and fat phobia.
