Stone Carving

For this project we were each given a stone and carving tools with no other guidelines. My theme for this project was to represent the feeling of falling in love with someone versus the feeling of self-love. I chose to represent this by having one side be falling in love, and have it slowly morph into the self-love section on the back. The difference between the two are shown with the dividing line, but also with the seemingly unfinished self-love side. This represents how it is a constant process to increase self love, versus the seemingly easy feeling of falling in love with somebody else.
